Curriculum

The Institute follows the revised curriculum (C 10) prescribed by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, with effect from academic year 2010-11. The curriculum designed with guidelines from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR Southern Region) features thoroughly revised inputs based on the needs of the Industry. Six months’ Industrial Training has been made mandatory for all Courses. Learning Soft skills has been given emphasis in the curriculum so that the students will be able to quickly adapt to Industry situations.

Certificate course in FOOD PRODUCTION AND PATISSERIE

Food Production has evolved to become the cynosure of Hospitality and Catering. Chefs are highly respected individuals in the society. Students of Food Production and Patisserie start their career as Apprentice cooks and Assistant cooks and grow to become Chefs de cuisine (Head Chefs) to assume administrative responsibilities. The scope of Food production has been widening with lifestyle changes occurring globally and increasing awareness on Healthy Eating and Responsible Tourism. Concern for Hygiene and Sanitation and the advanced scientific and technological influences into all forms of catering make this a challenging and rewarding professional avenue.
